Change Alert URL's

I moved wss from one server to another with keeping the same database. However, the URL is different. Now when user receive alerts they come with the URL from the old server. Is there a way to change the URL the alerts are coming from? Thanks.

Have you tried to change the settings in the Outgoing email settings in the Sharepoint Central Administration on the server?

I did end up solving this problem. I went into SQL and updated all the addresses in ImmedSubscriptions table. After that it worked like a charm.
