Change Active Directory Properties

Hi everybody,

I want to change the fields in the properties of the users in the active directory. For example I would like to add fields where I can gather information about which type of computer the user is working with. Is there a possibility to add new fields to the properties or to modify existing fields?

I don't believe you can change this information, it is hard coded. I suppose you may be able to rewrite the file in code (Like Visual C) if you know which file you are looking at specifically. Another option and what I do is to install SMS on your network, you will not only get a reading of the type of computer, but also the software and have the remote control option. Hope this helps.
