Hello

I have got jakarta-tomcat running on a w2k server. I have a perl script that I want to run as cgi. I can't seem to get it to work. When I try to run the script by clicking on the link I get a HTTP 404 error the requested resource is unavailable.

I have created a subdirectory within the web directory called WEB-INF/CGI and placed the script in there.

Any help or tips would be much appreciated

Thanks

Rich

Rich,

I do not think it will work that way, try to configure your IIS server to run CGI, with the Tomcat to run JSP and servlets.
Read the FAQ 'Integrating IIS with Tomcat' on this forum.
You can also use Apache instead of IIS.

Hope this helps
