Can anyone tell me why cfif causes gaps in my IE pages?

Thanks

Define "gaps".

Is it creating breaks or spaces when you view the web page? Are you referring to white space when you view the page source? Can you give us an example, maybe a link to a site we can look at?

I have a series of tabs for navigation, and i use cfif around these as permissions to allow use for certain pages etc. When i add the cfif code around the tabs it creates gaps - almost like cellpadding of about .5em... as you can imagine the tabs then sit above the page they need to appear part of.

Gotcha. Take a look at this thread, the second post may explain what you're seeing. thread215-1254685
