I play Fantasy Football, and use fanball.com. Fanball has a page that displays live scoring (against the person you are playing against that week). I've got a blackberry, and have tried to check the scores come Sunday, but my blackberry doesn't like the javascript on the page. So I was thinking that either I could create a page of my own that would read the contents of fanball's live scoring page pull out the scores, and display them on my page as pure html, or I could pull out the scores and send them to my email. The tricky part is that the Live Scoring on Fanball.com is not public, and you need to log in first from somewhere else.
So as abstractly as I can be, here are the steps I see:
1. Login
2. navigate to the Live Scoring URL
3. parse there html, store the Scores
4. Either place scores on webpage, or email them to myself.
Is there a way to use cfhttp to do this, does anyone know of a good resource to start investigating my possiblities?
Thanks.
