Hello all,

I have eliminated all possibilities and have it
down to this, I am trying a CFGRID template for the
1st time, and it's only while trying to browse the
beast in a Win98-SE client that I get a blank grey
box & at the bottom of browser, the "can't find
the cfgridform applet etc" error msg. no go with IE 5.0
or NS 4.6. It's not the browser version, as I'm OK with
IE5.0 & NT 4.0. I have enable all JAVA bits in the browser,
even downloaded & installed MS JM ver 5.0, blown out any security settings in the Browser, added "enable cab"
to my cfform tag, etc ..

All points to the bloody OS (win98)..
Has anyone else been down this rosy path ?

You need to check your installation paths etc as ColdFusion needs to be able to find the cab file in order to send it and the class file for the applet.

Russ Michaels
russ@satachi.com
<a href= Internet Development
For my personal book recommendations visit
Thanks for the post,
I have already been all over the path bits.
As this code works on other clients, I think
the problem lies with how Win98SE as an OS factors in
to how the browesr behaves...

Bruce Rojas-Rennke
