CF Folder Creation Problem 1

I am having a problem with CF. When user go to delete a folder in CF, i get an error.
Because a file named _vti_cnf gets created. How do I not create that file. Its something that gets created autmatically. I don't create the file it somehow gets created by itself. Users upload images, and documents and have the option of deleting folders. And creating new folders.
Help?????

Are you editing your site with Frontpage? That folder is created by FP to track page editing information.

If you google/groups _vti_cnf there are many discussions on this subject. Most of them concern changing from Frontpage to Dreamweaver.

I've figured out the problem. I am not using front page, I use dreamweaver, or notepad. I had to disable the front page extensions in IIS, from the control panel/add remove programs/add remove windows componets, In IIS, there's a setting for it. and since i dont use frontpage, there's no need for me to have this selected.
