CF 5.0 Scheduler

Hi --

I'm having a hard time getting the scheduler to complete a job successfully. I've given up on running the template that will be used in production, and am now trying to simply fire off a template that has a few lines of HTML in it.

I'm getting the following error::

"Error message for task: 'Load EOP Data' is 'Connection Failure. Status code unavailable.'"

Has anyone had a similar experience?

Is the template residing on the same machine you are scheduling it from?
If so, check the url -- if you are using something like http://machinename/mytemplate.cfm
Try using

http://127.0.0.1/mytemplate.cfm

- I've seen that help. You may have a firewall that is preventing your server from making http calls (Cfschedule uses the cfhttp tag to run the scheduled tasks) You may also check your web server -- if your directory is using NT Authentication for example, it may be preventing access.

Another thing to look for is if the template is in a directory where an application.cfm is in the directory (or in a parent directory) that has some code for login or setting a cookie or something like that that prevents the template from being fired. Usually it wouldn't be connection refused message though.
