CES Batch full issue 1

Hello all,

I know that when using the CES processor on slightly older versions of Aloha, you will get a "batch full" message after so many transactions and have to send out the batch before you can continue.

Does anyone know-

1- If this can be editing to be made larger? (I think last time I was told no on this)

2- Specifically which version of Aloha this was address and is no longer an issue?

Metabyte, is this the same issue you were referring to that you worked on with Aloha? I have only seen it with CES.

FYI- this is not at all related to the previous discussion we were having. This is a client who switched to firstdata and the CES template was the only one I got to work under. Not sure if I could use something else, haven't tried yet.
 
The developer of EDC told me that some processors can, and some do put limits on the number of transactions allowed per batch. He didn't specify which ones or why, but that was what made the issue I had different was we knew that I didn't have batch limits.

The batch full message should be a message received directly from the processor, so I do not believe it is adjustable.

To test if this is an SSL issue, then stop the EDCSVR service when this message appears then restart the service. If cards start processing again for a while, then you know you need to upgrade to the new version of EDC.

Hi just add the following to the ces section of edc.ini MaxTransactionsPerBatch=999
 
Great Call Matrix! I had to look this up. CES does limit transactions on dialup to 349 by default.
