Anyone out there have been certified.

I am interested in the basic cognos powerplay user certification.

1) Where and how is the test conducted.
2) How many tests do i take to get certified.
3) what is the price of each test.
4)Is there a checklist of topics i can have to prepare for the certification

You have to take all the courses that they want you to take. They want you to spend money. You can only get the certification through Cognos. Good luck, getting in touch with them.

Actually, you do not have to take their courses to get a certificate. You do have to take the test on their site and this requires a support ID. Probably won't help you much unless you already have a support account or know someone who does. Hope this helps. The link below has more info.

Has anyone taken the PowerPlay User certification?
My only source of information is PowerPlay User Guide pdf.
Would thorough reading of that be sufficient to pass the test?

What kind of questions i can expect.
