Certificate for IP500

I have little experience with Certificates. I have an IP500 and an application server. Is it possible to create a certificate for the IP500 from the application server for remote phones?

Would normally be done the other way round. Generate an identity certificate for the application server on the IP500.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
