on a kxtd 816 are there any problems using centrex lines from ma bell? problems, do's or don'ts?

Centrex lines are the same as regular lines, except they have extra features enabled. Worst case scenario: you have to dial an extra 9 to dial a regular local or long distance number.

what features are you trying to gain with the use of centrex ?

I havent gotten to features, just wanted to make sure there was no "not supported" issues thanks

if there are no features you particularly want from centrex you may want to consider that most of the customers I have with centrex complain about having to dial 9 and if you are using line groups its dial 9 twice (first for a outside line then to access centrex)

Im always having to explain to the users that its a co feature and not a function of my switch.
