Centralized Voice Mail Question?

What is the correct procedure for remote user to check messages in a centralized voice mail.Unable to use f981.
Could someone please enlighten me.

The remote site dials the ext of the Call Pilot at the main site.

When you call the VM DN should you get prompt to enter password? Currently getting auto attendant greeting.

I believe you can hit the asterisk key while the greeting is running and it will ask for your ext and password

Is OLI programmed on the remote phones? It should be programmed in order for the Vm to recognize the extension and ask the password.
