Centralised phonebook number(Dect)

Hi!

We´re switching from an Ericsson Business Phone to IP-Ofiice 5000.
Right now I´m working with the new dectsystem.
I have registred a old Ericssson DT590 handset, at first I noticed that I was able to reach the central phonebook.
But the suddenly it disapered.
I´m using a program called Cordless Phone Manager and have a ini-file from the old system that I´m editing to fit the IP-office.
At the bottom at this file there is a section called "Centralised phonebook" where there is a line where I can type in a number.
But what is that number, or doesn't work at all that way in IP-office?

Ok, but how did I have it to work in the first place then?
If I remember it was the same thing in the WLAN-phone Ascom i62, first I hade the centraly phonebook, but then suddenly it was just gone.

I imagine they kept their data from the old directory in memory for a while and now they can't get it anymore it's gone...

In the DT590 I have never had the centrally phonebook to work with the old system, and the i62 was brand new

What is the DECT system? Is it even an Avaya one? If not it has nothing to do with the IP Office as only Avaya's DECT system and handsets can pull the central directory down...as far as I know

Yes it is Avaya, in the master dect-base I can see the path to the IP-Office

you can TFTP the IPO and poll the directory cant you?

nasystem/dir_list

thats what the base station dones then pushes it to the phones on request.

I´ve never used TFTP so I can't tell

Those phones are not supported and with a reason.
Get new proper supported phones and be happy.

You got a point there, but since I had it working I'm not so happy about dropping it.
I will be happy to buy all new phones but I don't think that my boss will agree
Isn't the WLANphone Ascom I62 supported either? Is it only Avaya branded phones that's supported?

You could try but then it will use a 3rd party IP endpoint i guess.

I got it working now!
Must have been blind, the number I was looking for were in a field on the dect-base.
