Cencelling reoccuring preparing to install message

For some reason, when I log one of my servers in, it has started a Windows installer for an application that is already installed (Citrix). I don't know why because I have made no changes to this server and no one accesses it except for printing. I install the CD like it asks for, but it then says the *.msi package isn't valid. I have to cancel the installer and the server will log in and seems to run fine, but, when I log off or restart, the installer starts again. It keeps saying "preparing to install". I have to hit cancel three times to get it to stop before I can fully log in.

Is there a way to cancel the installer prompt for whatever is trying to install? This is very aggravating.

Uninstall Citrix. If you need the app, the cd you are using is probably scratched or something. If you can get a different cd or something, try to install it from it, and you shouldnt have any problems after that.

I cannot uninstall Citrix. This server is the DataStore server. I did not have a scractched CD. Citrix has been running fine, and still is. THis message just came out of nowhere and I want to make it stop popping up at login / restart.

I don't want to try and reinstall Citrix if I don't have too cause I'll have to move the datastore somewhere else to do it.

Check your run and runonce keys in the registry

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

these control the autostart programs run on logon.
Also, you can add a second Citrix server temporarily to the enviornment (Added to the "MetaFrame Farm&quot and do any work to the original server necessary, including the Uninstall-Reinstall you may potentially need.
