Cell value code..

Hi,

I would like to know the generic code for if a cell has a certain text value (basically, customer name), other cells fill in with info too, ie: customer address..

Its basically an invoice, where i want to be able pick the customer name from a cell list and the cell below is filled in with the customers address. These addresses are simply taken from other hidden cell values elsewhere on the worksheet..

Just for reference the main cell i want to pick the customer name is C6 and the address is cell C8 and the address would found in say cell V5

This can be done with native spreadsheet functionality. You don't need VBA.


Take a look at the lookup functions -- VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH to start with.
