Definity G3SiV8 and Intuity Audix 5.0 using PRI from Charter Comm.
When Audix hunt group is called from a cell or land-line,the digits are not being recognized by Audix. Caller gets dead air. Using system monitor you see no input.
When switch remote-access is called by cell or land-line, digits are not recognized. This scenario works fine from an IP phone.
Telco says not their problem
Any ideas would be appreciated
Mike

Programming for trunk looks good. I have seen Service Type: not set for cbc (call-by-call) which breaks remote-access
and cannot break dial-tone when using the remote-access barrier code via the PRI.

I don't have a G series or Audix so I may be way off here.

In my experience the vendor trunk connects to the telephone system and it has another type of connection (trunk) to the voicemail system that it routes calls over. If you have any auto attendants in the telephone system do they work when calls come in on the PRI? Call in to your extension and press some buttons on the cell phone and see if you hear them. Seems like those things would tell you if the outside PRI is working right. If it is then you have to look at the connection between the definity and audix or the transition from the PRI to the AUdix trunk. If an outside caller rolls to voicemail do they hear a greeting?

Thanks for all your input. The problem is fixed.
After another talk with the CO they found a DTMF setting that was wrong. They had it set for wide-band. Changed it to RTD and it worked.
Thanks again
Mike
