CE8 Pageserver / Cacheserver Connection Problem

Hi,

I have CE8 running on a Windows 2000 server for the last 2.5 years without any problem. Recently we installed a security patch from the Microsoft and now we have to restart the pageserver and cacheserver almost every day. The error message on the event log is "Connection to Page Server failed." with Event ID 35208. We have removed the security patch and installed the CE service pack 1, but the problem still is not resolved. Any help on this is greatly appriciated. Thanks.

I just went through that with CE 8.5

The Service Pack resolved it, though I also did a number of other tweaks from the knowledge base.

Thanks for the help.

We have installed SP1. This time it ran about 5 days. This morning the problem occurred again. We tried to re-start the services but that didn't resolved the problem. We had to re-install SP1 twice (somehow the first installation didn't work) so people can access the reports. I read the white paper but it didn't give me a good idea of what to do except maybe I should run the pageserver on the console. Any idea? Again, thanks for the help.
