CE8.5 is installed to a different partition not the System parition. We have applied server packs and still our scheduled Job will not run, with one exception "Run Now" works.
We can view on Demand(Page server) and we have changed the
Job server account to match the Page server account, which is a Domain Admin.

There are no NT Events in the log and APS trace does not show a direct clue.

This is a new install.

Does it ever fail? If not (as simple as it seems), try the refresh button when viewing the status of a report. It is not very good at refreshing with new info automatically on some machines.

Just a side note. When I was working with CE 8.0, the software would wig out when it wasn't installed on the system partition or drive. Wherever your web services are running from is where CE likes to be installed.

Thanks for the tip. The Jobs never finish or start, even after the server is rebooted. They stay in the Pending status for as long as a week until manually deleted.

Perhaps try to run your APS under the domaina dministrator account?

What DB are you using ? SQL Server?
Why you have changed the Job server account to match the Page server account, which is a Domain Admin ?
Do you mean you using the Domain Admin to restart the Jobserver.exe service ?

Try to use a local admin account to restart the Jobserver service.

Also you need to check at database side.

Cheers.
