CDRW limitations?

Hey, I have a heirarchy of folders that ultimately lead to a folder that has about 27,000+ files (files are relatively small in size). When I transfer from the top of the heirarchy to a CDRW, the directory in which the folder resides is empty except for a file which miraculously was transferred.

I guess I should explain a little more. The top level of the heirarchy contains two folders. Each second level folder contains about five folders and one file. The first folder is small, so it transfers to the CDRW, but the second folder contains the folder with all the files. When I view the folder after the transfer (which by the way takes time to transfer) nothing's there, just the file I mentioned before.

In a nut shell, are there limitations when transferring to CDRW? When I transfer the folder by itself, it transfers fine. I am confused and if anyone can shed light on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Mike

Instead of transfering, try using your CD-RW burning software.
If that still doesn't work, try zipping the whole folder into one zip file and then transfering onto cd-rw.
