After to install drive DDO-Dinamic Drive Overlay V9.61 to be able to use more than 8Gb of a HD Samsung of 20Gb in a WindowsME machine, the system started to function badly.

When the WindowsME is activated from the HD, the Drive of CDROM is not installed. When boot is made by the incialization disket of the WindowsME in DOS mode, CDROM's drive is installed normally.

Have you got any suggestion of as to adjust the WindowsME inicialization archives to activate the CDROM?

Thanks for your help

Make sure when you installed the cdrom you put it on the secondary controller or ide 2. You shouldn't have to change the jumpers. When you boot up go into the bios and make sure it sees the secondary master. Then save and exit. [2thumbsup]
