How do we adjust the CDR time and day stamp for CCM 4.0? Thanks in advance...

Kind Regards,

In my CDR the timestamps match the time of the server. Not sure where you are getting the time from. Is it possible you don't have the offset from GMT?

How does one check for offset from GMT?

Kind Regards,

MassDeployer

Look at your server time. The offset from GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is your time zone. Eastern Standard in the US is GMT -5.

The server time is fine...now what?

Do you possibly have more than 1 server?? My phones register to my Subscriber and therefore the CDR timestamps would come from that server.

All servers times are OK...

Any other ideas?

Thanks for help...

Do you have phones in a different time zone configured in ccm?
If so CDR would report the call with the time zone the phones belong to.

All devices pools are the same - central US standard

Did a little investigating. CDR timestamps are stored as 32 bit integers obtained from Win2k system routines and is in the number of seconds from Jan 1, 1970 GMT. So since you are in Central time, they would show to be 6 hours ahead.

Not sure there is a 'fix'. Where are you looking at the times, in CAR or in the Traces? There was a CDR Timestamp conversion tool also, are you using it?

I reading it off my Call Accounting System - Infortel. Where can I find this CDR Timestamp conversion tool?

Kind Regards,

I downloaded a copy from Cisco Press a couple years ago. I don't know if it's still available. Is there any settings in your software that would allow for the offset?

Call Mangler reports time in GMT, you need to apply the offset in whatever you use for call accounting.

you have to mention what time zone that the gateway is in on your infortel.....you do this in the trunk database option off the call center.......example if gateway 192.168.1.1 is eastern time zone, then you say that.......this will take any calls on that gateway and correct the time based on the GMT offset you enter, and this will be the time that is reported on your Infortel system and reports.
