We have Communication Manager 6.0.1

Our current CDR collection solution is inadequate. Primary CDR is sent over the network to server1 (processed by script, written to mysql database and to a text file), Secondary is sent over the network to server2 (collected by netcat, written to a file). If there is a hiccup on the network or with either server, we don't get notifications and I'm not sure how we could even set them up. Worse ... the CDR is lost. Fortunately, we have two feeds, so if only one is affected I can rebuild the other - I use the Secondary for the billing scripts.

Is there a way that we could save CDR to Communication Manager itself? Is there another solution that might be more reliable?

You may want to look at a product that supports RDTT (Reliable Data Transport). When the connection fails the system stops sending and call records are buffered.
