Let me 1st say I'm sorry this is so long but I wanted to provide as much detail as I could. I guess my main question in all of this is can someone with the same setup show me how they have their's configured? My main question I think is on the TN726/553 administration.
I've been reading in this forum trying to figure out what I'm missing. According to a previous post: In thread690-818306 by 4merAvaya (TechnicalUser)
I have most everything right I think.
I have the TN726/553 packs. But I'm not sure if the are "Administered correctly"
The 8400B is connected to a TN2224. The Data Module's RS-232 connector is connected to a Omnitronix Data-Link DL50 buffer box. I can set this in bypass mode and see anything hitting the Data Module.
Here are my current settings for the 8400B Registers.
AT&V
ACTIVE PROFILE:
B1 E1 L2 M1 Q0 V1 X4 Y0 &C0 &D0 &G0 &J0 &L0 &P0 &Q0 &R0 &S0 &X0 &Y0
S00:001 S01:000 S02:043 S03:013 S04:010 S05:008 S06:002 S07:060
S08:002 S09:006 S10:014 S12:050 S14:AAH S16:01H S18:000 S21:00H
S22:76H S23:1BH S24:01H S25:005 S26:001 S27:40H
If I unplug the Data module from the TN2224 the system calls back because I get a record on my buffer box so I believe that the G3R is trying to establish a connection to the the Data-Module
But when I stat the CDR it shows
CDR LINK STATUS
Primary Secondary
Link State: down down
Number of Retries: 1 9999
Maintenance Busy? No No
And on stating the Data Module is shows:
Status Data Mod 7006
DATA-MODULE STATUS
Data Ext/Stn Ext for Stn DM: 6699
Port/Channel Number: 02A0423
Service State: in-service/idle
Maintenance Busy? no
CF Destination Ext:
Connected Ports:
Shouldn't there be a Connected port?
If I call 7006 it is busy. This would indicate that the system has made a connection right?
Sorry this was so long but I wanted to show what I've tried to do so far.
Thanks for any help!!
