I am a data engineer but coordinating on some project with the voice engineer and I am told that whenever you configure a tty port as CRD port you have to reload the PABX for the changes to take effect is that correct .Please confirm .

we have 11C & 61C

Perhaps??? What was being said was:

LD 43 EDD?

This loads changes permanently into the system core. Not doing this may loose or corrupt your changes.
