A customer has a problem with cdr output as it will disable on its own, and will sometimes buffer and then spit out the data. I have checked 117 and the buffer is disabled on cdr. Also weird characters come out. It is happeneing on 3 ports. The ports go into a cti interface. I have not been on site, only remotes. My question is..has any body had this problem? Also is it the same of the output being 7 bit odd parity 1 stop bit. It used to be that way.

the setup is adjustable, via switch settings or sofware, depending on the card type. enable buffers, the buffer on the tty may be filling up causing problems. i dump to a pc and have zero problems.. depending on the rls you may need a patch

I do get good data. But everyonce in a while it goes buggy. Also disables itself. The tech on the data side that the ports are going into swears that his equipment is okay. He also says it does not buffer or put out an xon or xoff.
