I have setup CDR as per previous posts here but I am only getting incoming calls.

This is the CDR_DATA details:
TYPE CDR_DATA
CUST 00
CDR YES
IMPH NO
OMPH NO
AXID YES
TRCR YES
CDPR YES
ECDR NO
BDI NO
OTCR YES
PORT 1 2
CNI DGTS
BCAP NO
CHLN 0
FCAF NO

I am not very experienced in this but from what i have read I thought i just needed to set OAL to yes to see the outgoing records. I have read the nortel docs on cdr but have drawn a blank as it seems I have set it up correctly. Below is the CDR details I have set in the RDB

CDR YES
INC YES
LAST YES
OAL YES
AIA YES
OAN NO
OPD NO

I get all incoming calls just fine but there is no activity recorded for any outgoing calls.

Can anyone point me to where the problem may be?

Hi,

This might be a stupid question but have you ensured that CDR is turned on on all your outgoing routes? Do a PRT of your RDB and look for each ACOD and a short way under each should be
CDR YES
The best thing might be to turn CDR on for every route.
This should be all you need.

like the post said, do you have it turned on for all routes?

Sometime's short answers work better. some people can't handle long sentences.

CDR is set to YES for all routes. I am not in the office so can't print the details. CTY is set on the tty as I am getting inbound calls logged.
AceWarlock asked "Do you have it turned for your outgoing trunks???". Is this the same as the rdb settings or is there another ld that I would set this??

I will post the rdb data tomorrow.

it needs to be turned on in ld 15 under cdr_data, then the routes, ld 16 chg rdb, and like you posted ld 17 chg tty with cty as user. make and outbound call, trace that to a route, check that route for cdr yes.. and also check the class of the set..
