CDR Analysis

anyone know the default user for CDR Analysis and Reporting?
It is supposed to be Admin and the secret cm password.

In the past, I've had to browse the DC directory to find the userid of the person(s) with CDR admin access. There is a document on cisco.com detailing this.

The Default UserId and password for CAR is admin - admin.

admin/admin did not work. I can log into it with my user/pw, but its way to limited.

If admin/admin didn't work, someone has made another user as an Administrator of CAR. Have you looked for the doc mentioned above?
admin/admin is the default values for CAR.

I have the same situation, admin/admin does not work for me. In the Local users and Groups I found the users CCMCDR but i don't know if there is the correct user, also I don't know the password, can anybody please help me?

The CDR login account(s) is/are not a local Windows account, but rather an account in the CCM Global Directory. If you have CCM admin access already, then you could simply change the password on the user that is listed in the DC directory as having CDR admin access. Please reference:

You will still need your DC Directory admin password. If you don't have that, then you're going to have to do a little more work.

Thanks, I already have read that document before, and I don't have the DC Directory password, I used Directory Manager as User and ciscocisco as the password and didn't work.

Oh, that's never the password. I don't even know why Cisco bothers saying what the "default" password is. It gives people too much hope. <grin> Fortunately, the DC directory password is pretty easy to "crack". The encrypted version of the password is stored in two locations, in the registry and in the dc config file. Plus, there is an exe/script included which will show you the encrypted version of the plaintext password that you specify. So, with a little trial and error you can get the unencrypted password. It encodes on a letter by letter basis, so you can decode on one letter/number at a time. I think the command-line tool's name is passwordutils.exe
