I don't seem to be able to get CAR to work. This is what I've done:

Service > Service Parameters > MyCCMServer> CallManager service: CDR Enabled Flag: True
Installed the plugin from the Install Plugins page

Now when I try to access the tool from the serviceabillity site I get the following error: 404.1 You are not authorized to view this page.

I do not get prompted for a username and password, it just opens a new window where it says "not authorized to view this page" The address in the address bar is
From what I've read, it should give me a login page and I should login with username "admin" and password "admin".

I'm using CallManager 4.1(2). Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated.

1. Have you checked IIS virtual directory?
Default Web Site/art
- Check Directory Security configurations

2. Did you install the plugin on the CM host itself?

3. Check SQL to see if ART database is configured and online
(MyCMServer\Databases\art)

4. Check IIS W3SVC logs for any web page issues (c:\winnt\system32\logs\w3svc1\*.log)

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Bill

tuffgong, I've checked everything you suggested. Still doesn't work.

Have you tried changing the servername in the url to the IP address? Maybe a name resolution issue?

regards
Steve

I did finally get it to work by making the IUSR_XXXX and IUSR_WPG accounts members of the administrators group. I know it' s a huge security risk but atleast it works. Now I have to figure out a way for it to work securely in a production environment.

Hi!!

I bring this post to life again because when I login with admin/admin I get this error :

[LDAP Access Error. Contact System Administrator.]

I did what tuffgong said and cannot get access?

Can anybody help me?

Is the DCD Service started? if not restart and try again.
