Hi,

At the moment our agents are dialling *8559 before they make a personal call so that our call logger can track it. This system was setup before i joined this company. However, when I run a report from the caller logger it is only picking up the 9 and the rest of the dialled number.

I have found that *85 is the feature access code for CDR Account Code Access Code and I presume 5 is the access code (I dont know where the codes are setup). Could anyone tell me why this info isn't being passed to the logger.

Thanks,

coolk

Account code isn't a part of dialed numer. There is separate field in CDR record which contains it. Check 2nd page of
display system-parameters cdr and look for 'acct-code'. This way you will be able to locate position of this field in CDR record.

Thanks for the reply Pieta.

The problem is that the switch isn't sending out the account code. I have checked the raw data and no account code is sent out. On page 2 of system-parameters cdr account code is sent to the maximum 15.

Do you have ideas why this information is not being passed out from the switch?

Thanks again,

coolk

Did you set the switch to send the code? Check change system-parameters cdr. If you set the primary output format to customized you get a second page where all the different data-items can be set. Just include acct-code as a filed and you should find it in the raw data. Depending on what the fields are now, changing the output format might mess up your CDR- tracking system if it is expecting different fields and a different order. You can separate the data-items by adding a SPACE as a data- field, you should also add a RETURN and LINE FEED as the last 2 data- fields

Frank

Thanks for the repl Frank.

Everything is setup in system-parameters cdr, ie, I have a field for account code and the last 2 fields are RETURN and LINE FEED. When I look at the reports (its a Datatrack call logger called Eclipse) the logger only passes out the 9 and the rest of the dialled number. Any ideas?

Thanks again.
