I am having a problem with outside caller unable to reach a cisco extension. The calls terminate on a Nortel and is CDP to the Call manager. Were would I look to see if the entry is correct.

Another thing to check would be the timers on the trunks as I've seen it before where a call comes in and is immediately routed back out another trunk...and the timer prevents the call. Orbital timer is one thats caused issues in the past.

This will fall first under trunk to trunk transfer. You need to have this set up in your system. You can search this forum on how to make sure this is done, but essentially

LD 15

under NET_DATA
TRNX set to YES
EXTT set to YES

Under OPT
CFO to CFF

Then you need to set up your route. I am assuming you are doing QSIG?

Route has TRMB set on, even your incoming LEC route needs TRMB set to yes.

Try to set your Cisco route as a TIE instead of DID as there are issues with Trunk to Trunk over DID routes. If you have access to the ESPL you can get the patches that fix this. The problems with this go back to Succession 3.0 .

Your trunk members need a high enough NOCS to make the calls. So your LEC trunk members need to have an NOCS the same or higher than the FRL on the RLB. Also in the RLB create a DMI table and don't put anything excpet for CTYP, make that UKWN.

Try all this and it should work fine. Just did this on Friday. Succession 4.5 to Cisco. Used QSIG and it worked like a champ.
