I have a dual boot system, 2000 Pro & XP. It seems i can write to a CD in both systems, & can then read stuff from the CD in both systems on this computer. However, when i try to view the info on that CD on another computer, Nothing. i.e other computers are saying that there is nothing on that computer. Could anyone please explain why ?

You know, i don't really know !! if by the CD you mean the actual disc; all it says on there is CD-R:700MB. As for the actual dirve it self, that is a LG 32X10X40X CD RW. I hope that makes sense.

Are you writing data or music or what? Did you close the session when you wrote the CD-R? "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing....." [morning]

Some older CDROM's (and some of the newer cheaper ones) do have trouble reading CDR media, especially CDRW.

Like said above make sure you close the session as thats often a cause.
