When I try to run the CD-Writer it gives me the following message: cdrtc.dll file cannot start. Check the file to determine the problem.
Now, I have tried to open the file and nothing happens. I don't know what else to do. Can anybody help?

Hello,
I'm not sure what operating system or burning software you are using, however I did find this to be an issue with NT.

Operating System: Windows NT4
Other Related Hardware: Adaptec DirectCD, Easy CD Creator

Issue Details: Can not find CDRTC.dll on boot (from DirectCD). "Engine Initialization Failure" when trying to launch Easy CD Creator.

Under the Devices utility in Control Panel, no listing appears for Adaptec's CDR4VSD.

Resolution: If the Temp folder does not exist within C:\Winnt, Easy CD Creator and DirectCD will not properly install. No error messages appear during install.

create a TEMP folder within C:\Winnt and reinstal the Adaptec Easy CD Creator and/or DirectCD.
