CD-RW drive dropped from radar...

Win98 kidnapped my CD-RW drive after I replaced my main (master) CD-ROM drive. How do I coerce it to give it up (recognize it)?

try re-installing the drivers that came with the righter. --MiggyD

did you set the jumper(s) properly? more then likely not make sure if its on the master secondary ide that it is set as master if its connected to your hard drive cdrom is slave and hard drive is master as far as the jumpers are concerned, also make sure the cable is not backwards
