I have a Sony CD-R disk with very valuable photographs on it (almost full). HP CD-Writer can't read information and scan disk won't work. I have tried all standard CD repair methods to no avail. I there anyway to recover this data?!!

is the cd scratched?  Has the silver cover or thin covering on top of the cd been peeled off or accidently been scratched off, can u see clearly through the cdr?  IF yes to all of the above...then I dont think there is anyway to recover data from the cdr.  ur data has been scratched off.

did you have any luck with this problem.
i am trying to solve an exact same problem

have you used the cddr10.exe program. it enables you to recover by tracks but is still very complicated.
i have not been totally successful reloading photos wherre i have recovered the code tracks.

there must be some ideas out there.
