I'm disabled and can type on a PC but not write, so I need a pgm that will simply inventory CD titles. Know of one? (Preferably free - I have no money)

Do you have access to Microsoft Excel?

If yes, and you can describe what you need your progran to do, maybe we can help.

It doesn't sound like it would be a difficult task.

Yup. Full Office 2000 Pro, Excel included.

1. Directory Lister
Where: Price: Free
"Directory Lister lets you list files in selected directories on hard disks, cd-roms, floppys etc. into a HTML or TXT file (listing). It's like the DIR command but MUCH more convenient."

2. Tree Print
Where: Price: Free
"Remember the old DOS program TREE.COM?
It displayed the directory and file structure, and you could pipe the output to a file or printer. TREE.COM was never updated to support long filenames, and it disappeared with Microsoft Windows 95. This issue's utility, TreePrint, is a replacement for TREE.COM that you access from within Windows Explorer. Right-click on a folder or drive and use the TreePrint menu to print the directory tree or save it to a file, starting at the point on which you clicked. Options let you control the number of levels, the amount of indentation for each level, whether to include filenames, and whether the tree should be sorted alphabetically. TreePrint is especially useful for documenting the contents of archive media such as CD-Rs."

Both are excellent...both are free...be greedy like me =8)
