Hi
Can someone tell me if there is an option or a way of making the bootkit floppy disk into a CD instead ?
I.E. What do we do about a PC/Server with no floppy drive ? Can we create the files without having to put them onto a floppy to enable us to take them and burn them to a CD ?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Actually, you will still need a floppy.
You may use an external USB floppy, there's a techdoc covering this.

BAB11.6 DR won't use a floppy, maybe ?

The reason we ask is that we have this installed onto clients servers which at the moment (i've said it now) have never needed to use the disaster recovery option so we thought we'd run through the proceedure. We know that companies are starting to make the floppy drive obsolete on their builds and so will in effect make this Application useless.
If we can't boot from CD then we'll make the move over to Symantec.

cheers
