When I start CCV and then select the delta server it gives me this message:

Permission denied whilist connecting to server machine process.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. CCV runs fine locally on the CCC server.

Thanks for the help

Do you have CCC User Access running on the client computer?

Correct User access is running on the client PC.

Windows firewall on the server is on or off?

If you can't be good, be good at it!

Did you change the Access permissions on the CCC folder and on the client PC as per the install manual?

Sorry for the late response. Yes the permissions in the CCC folder on the CCC server were adjusted per the docs. One thing I did run into was on the cliet PC when trying to right click on "change the system time" there isnt a security option only properties? Other than that we are still having the problem.

Is the CCV on a client? Is the client in a workgroup whilst the CCC server is in a domain? I think so.

I have the below on a doc with some nice pictures which help, here is the general jist.

Permission Set Up CCC Server

Share ‘C’ Route Directory

The CCC Server located in the domain will have to have sharing and security permissions set to allow the client to have access.

On the CCC Server ‘route directory’ - ‘C’, right click and choose the option for sharing. Share the directory ‘C’. Security Permissions for the share ‘C’ can remain default against Everyone.

(If Everyone is not shown then add it. Everyone is required to allow the workgroup clients permissions to access requested files and folders when called upon when running the application on the client machine)

Permissions and Security CCC Folder (CCC Server)

Right Click on the CCC folder from C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office.

Set the Security of Everyone to have full control within the Permissions.

CCC Client Operational Within Workgroup

Map Network Drives CCC Client operational in the Workgroup

Allows access to the CCC Server.

Map a network drive from the Client to the domain name of the CCC server and then to the shared C drive.

Connect the mapped drive with the Domain Account used for the CCC Server.

Choose the option to ‘Reconnect at Logon’ and ‘Connect using a different user name’

It is at this point that the domain account used for the CCC Server is entered to allow the mapped drive connection.

CCC Client Applications

The CCC Client should now be able to run.

Start Call Centre View. The CCV should now be able to connect to the Delta Server without generating any permission errors.

Wall Board Clients should be opened.

If the permissions are not valid, then the Wallboard client will not be able to connect or see a delta server to connect to.

If the above is done then the client CCV options (CCV, Wallboard client, PC Wallboard) should be fully operational.
