Hi

I'm having a few issues with 6.1 CCR. At first I installed 6.1 CCR on a Virtual 2003 Server using Citrix XEN. But I was having issues where, if the browser on a wallboard showing realtime stats was closed, the browser could not log back into the wallboard account. An error message was saying, no licenses available. All of the licenses was available at this time. the site has 7 wallboard and all wallboards are acting the same.

I reported this fault to Azlan who escallated to Avaya. they came back and informed me that the version of Virtual Server was not supported.

Today I have now supplied a seperate server 2008 stand alone machine and reinstalled the CCR Aplication.

Now, when I open up the browser on the server and log into the wallboard account all realtime information is there and looking ok. BUT when I access the wallboard account from another PC I can see the wallboard screen and tiles but no realtime information. The areas where queue stats is empty.

I suspect that this may be an issue with the IIS7 settings on the server 2008 PC, but I have had a look at all of the PDF documents and there is no information on settings for II7 or server 2008.

Any ideas or information will be greatly recieved.

many Thanks

Mark

Sounds like Silverlight is not installed.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

What does Azlan say?
Did they do the installation?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Microsoft Silverlight is installed and running ok on both server and wallboard PC's.

Azlan did not install the application i have installed this myself.

What is Azlan for a company then?

At the moment I'm loosing all faith with their tech support as they have no idea or clue when I speak to them.

I just get we will look into it.

I double either you or Azlan is certified for this stuff.

I think Azlan are new to the Avaya game, they are showing their experience and skill level well :)

Azlan is also called Tech Data here and they are just an online reseller.

to come back on the issue, it is not a server issue.
It works on a different pc.
It must be the pc where it goes wrong.

Turn off windows firewall on the server.

Football is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

Did you follow the manual.
It tells you that you need to add exceptions in the firewall.
I think Jamie is spot on.

Thanks Jamie.

I thought I had put this in the exception table.

All working now.

I will repost if I start to get the original fault with the number of licenses.

Thanks again all

Glad to see you got the issue resolved, so the firewall settings on Server 2k8 were the issue!!
I didn't realise you were losing faith, if you have concerns please talk to us, before you post blogs for the world to read :(
If we know there's a problem, we can do something about it.
Speak soon.
Simon

FYI Azlan is one of the remaining Distis in the UK they were a nortel disti previously.

If your having problems with them try AVNET, Scansource or WESTCON.
