Hi all,

I finally managed to fix CCR on Windows Server 2008/SQL Server 2008.

The issue I am having now is that the Wallboard is empty. It basically is empty boxes.

CCR ver. 7.0.4.4
IPOffice 500 ver 7.

Anything I should particularly be checking

TO NOTE: The Wallboard was working on initial install but I had to format the machine and install from scratch as I was not able to get the reports working (previous thread in this forum)

See screenshot

After installing Silverlight on the server itself, the wallboard works there.

On my PC it does not work at all...completely removed silverlight and installed the version that gets linked when you attempt to log into CCR and I still have no data.

Tried another colleagues PC, same thing.

Server side firewall???

Indeed, this really sounds as not putting in the ports in the firewall exception list.

Code:
2.15 Firewall Settings
If the server is running a firewall then traffic on some additional ports may need to be allowed.
Port Description
TCP 80 User browser access to IP Office Customer Call Reporter.
TCP 1433 IP Office Customer Call Reporter to SQL access.
UDP 1434
TCP 8135 Wallboard access.
The details here cover the addition of those ports for the default Windows firewall.
1.Access the Widows Firewall settings (Start | Control Panel | Windows Firewall).
2. Select the Exceptions tab.
3.Click Add Port....
4.Enter a name to describe the function, for example IPOCCR SQL Access. Set the Port to 1433 and TCP.
5. Repeat the above operation for the other ports required.
6.Click OK

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Try to create a new wallboard user to see if that works.
Logoff the one that is not working and login with the new user name.

Firewall!!

Thanks, that worked. What I don't understand was that when I originally installed it, I did not have to open these ports on the firewall.

Thanks again
