Is it possible? and supported by Avaya?
Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Yes and no

CCR and 1XP should not be on one server OS.
They will bite each other.

I agree with tlpeter, but they are supported on one server, with limitations.

see tech tip 227:

VM Pro: 16 ports (8 TTS)
CCR: 50 Agents
One X: 150 Simultaneous users.

8 Ports (4 TTS)
30 Agents
50 Simultaneous users.
Release 6

2GHz Quad Core, 6GB RAM, Windows 2008 64-bit.

CCR run in virtual server Windows 2003.

But not the same OS!!!!!!!!!!

CCR needs to be installed on a different server (read OS) then 1XP
CCR or 1XP needs to be on a virtual if you want to use the same hardware.

depending on the spec of your machine i would do this:

Install VM Ware ESXi (free)
Create two VMs
1 - Windows Server for your Windows Apps
2 - Install Linux App server for VM Pro and One-X

that way there are no port and resource issues and conflicts with running it all on one windows instance.

The alternate to HSM's solution would be to use 2008R2, install Hyper-V, create a virtual machine for VMP, CCR, ContactStore or whatever else you want to throw at it then install one-X Portal on the host as it is the real hog on Windows.

Either works.
