I've got a customer who has not been able to login to CCR for a week.
I seems as if supervisor licences are getting locked up. When the supervisors go to login they are getting an error message that says no licenses available.

They have 8 supervisor licenses and 14 users set to supervisor. My solution reduce the number of users set to supervisor to 8 reboot the IPO and the CCR server.

They can now login but there is no data on the reports from the week they were unable to login

Questions

Is this data lost or can it be recovered if so how?

Is it necessary to reduce the number of supervisors? The documentation reads like its OK as long as the number of people logging in at one time is less than or equal to the number licenses.

Has anyone had this problem before and if so is there a better solution than rebooting?

have them log out not just close the browser or shut down, that might help a bit but no guarantees with CCR

The data is not linked with the logins it is a database that stores the data and if it is lost then that mean that there was a bigger problem than just them not being able to log on it might have been a network connectivity issue between the IPO and the CCR or the CCR was just not collecting any data (for whatever reason) CCR is just not a stable product no matter what Avaya has tried to make it better.

Google it you damn kids

It has too many different elements and connectors/providers etc all dependant on other elements working correctly, they are all coded badly so it just ends up spiraling into an unworkable sluggish and temperamental mess that requires 8 gig of Ram and many reboots to keep working :)

I have seen issues when the users are not login out correctly.
Check if there are tasks setup in CCR for resetting stuff every night.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Had this many times.

1. Stop ccr services
2. Clear all event logs
3. Reset iis
4, Start ccr services

Wait a while.

and I guarantee it wont be the last time.

I have made batch files for that.

Server 2008 can have the even viewer logs removed but 2003 needs an additional script for that.
I am not sure where you have to put that file but i think that must be from the location where you start the batch file.

Here are both batch files±
