One of our agency departments wants to have all after-hour callers use the CCR Tree to leave messages with personal details at mailbox x then press a transfer # that would then transfer them directly to an information message mailbox with the day's permit #. A seamless behind-the-scenes transfer which forces customers to leave personal details before receiving the necessary permit #.
Is this possible? I don't see how but thought I'd ask the pros.
From what I'm reading, you can't tie a recording mailbox to an information message mailbox because the recording mailbox doesn't have such an option (only disc, prev, or home).
