Hello all,
In the latest CCR im taking he following error when trying to export ccr reports in excel format:
"Error in File (xxx).rpt: Invalid export DLL or export format"

I can have all other available formats like .pdf or crystal without problems.

Have you ever seen this before ?

Server is 2003 SRV R2 clean installation for IPO services

Regards

sorry, I do not understand what you mean. Which refers to your answer

noWolfi, you have raised a case and Avaya closed it (your words)
Why did they close the case?

HSM, i have one and it is full of errors but i am not sure if it is related.
The sevrer has a name with CCC in it.
I thing CCC was installed before.

Did any one have servers where CCC was installed in the past?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Peter, he means Excel was closed while generating the report.....not the case with Avaya :)

I have gotten a solution for this.
Login on the server and follow this instruction:

Code:
Control Panel -> System Advanced -> "Environment Variables" button -> Go to System Variable
Select “Path” -> and press edit
Select “Variable Value” field
Go to the end of this field and enter a [;] followed by the “Path” info: c:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86

This should fix the problem.
It could be that the server needs a reboot.

Yes it works as it should!!!
Thanks Peter

Thanks tlpeter!! I just installed a new 7.0.12 with CCR. Server is 32-bit Windows 2008 standard.

Got everything running perfectly but didn't test exporting reports until I got on site. Word and PDF worked fine, but Excel didn't. We don't have MS Office installed and have never needed it to get the export function to work. It is a part of the Crystal Reports package to make this happen. I added in the path statement you provided and it worked like a champ! Thanks Thanks Thanks!!!

Thanks, nice to see that it is actually useful :)
