CCR Answering DID's instead of Personal Mailbox

I know I've probably just forgotten something, but it has been a while since I've seen this. MICS with PRI 4 digit DNIS coming down. AA going to CCR tree on a NAM.

The problem I'm seeing is that internally, when you dial an extension, CFNA goes to the person's correct mailbox, as does Busy forwarding. However, when someone either dials that person's DID number from the outside or hits the AA/CCR/NAM from the outside, the call transfers correctly to the DN, but when it gets to CFNA or on Busy, it instead routes back to the Home message of the CCR.

AA is not set up to answer any lines except the main number which is not one of the DID group. All calls coming in on the PRI. Number of Rings set to 3.

Seems to only be on calls coming in from the outside, and may have something to do with improper CLID? Don't know.

Sounds to me like you need to install the Redirect DNS patch for NAM.
 
If it is the last version of the nam 4.1e go into F983 pswd press 8 you can change the redirect DN there. If not you need the S/W on a floppy and load it in the nam also Voice mail manager you can change it ther too.
 
Yep - sounds like a need for 4.1 is the real answer. Do you know if I swap in a 4.1 HD will the channels have to be re-activated or do I need to back up capabilities first, then re-apply?

Or - I could just do the Redirect DN patch if anyone knows how to get a hold of a download file for that.

I think we'll probably upgrade to 4.1 at some point, but it is a busy place and would spend a weekend re-doing their mailboxes.

They used to have a live attendant, but a split in the business requires them to have an auto attendant answer for 1 year and give them the option of choosing which side they are calling...
 
Got the Redirect Patch on Floppy and booted and voila!
