Hi ...

I have a Customer ask me that he want to access the CCR from home.
The IT Manager tell me whats the ports should be opened ?

Thanks

50808 but it you would have hit f1 and did a search on this you would have found this out yourself, please try to do a little research going forward rather than just take the easy road and ask us on here, besides you will learn how to find these answers yourself

I would tell the it guy to use a VPN.
Tell him also you hourly for when it gets hacked because of port forwarding.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Wow, that just sounds like a disaster. CCR is so finicky to begin with. I agree with tlpeter: vpn.

50808?? That is connecting the CCR server to the IP Office.

To just login to CCR (which it sounds what is required), then you need access to the web side of the CCR server. Same as on site.

Port 80 to the CCR server. An 'IT Manager' should have been able to work out how to access a web page surely!!!!

DON'T DO IT!!! Take Peters advice and tell him it;s unsecure and needs a VPN connection to get at it.

If he asks if he can change the port from port 80 to something none standard to try hide it from hackers, put the phone down on him and never go back.

Or just tell him to use teamviewer or logmein or some other free remote software and connect internally and wash your hands of it :)

LOL Jamie.

I have to wonder about how some of these "IT Managers" get their jobs.

I do IT and Comms. It pisses me off no end. And what's worse. I bet they get paid more than us.
