Does anyone have an idea of what a CCNP lab is suppose to look like? I've search all over cisco.com with my CCO userid to find a recommended CCNP lab scenario.

My Equipment:
Cisco 2501, 2507, 2503, 4500, 2916, 1924

Semester 5, 6 and 7 of the Cisco Academy roughly match to the CCNP progam. Get the lab guides for practice and thoughts on how to config the lab. Expect to use 4 routers and a couple of switches. It really helps to have a router with 4 serial interfaces to act as the "cloud". Not a requirement but something that makes life easier.

I agree, 2 x 2501, 1 x 2524/25 (with 2 serial + ISDN BRI U), and a 4000M w/4 serial, 2 Ethernet (10/FDX), and 4 ISDN S/T ints (need a S/T to U converter) plus 1 x 1924 and a 2924 will pretty much get you through CCNP Routing, Remote Access, and Switching (you will probably need to scrap up a couple of external USR courier modems, a POTS simulator (about $100-200 on ebay), and the big item is a ISDN simulator (those aren't cheap)...

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of drawing a Visio diagram that I will use for my CCNP lab, and share it with anyone who wants it. I have one I created for my CCNA that I used, located on my site.

I do not think of a lab that do not have the ISDN simulator!...Catch the reputed Teltone make for around US$800-1000 at ebay or else check with vconsole.net site and grab your own for around $500-$600....I do not see anywhere that is cheaper than this price.

Any Simulator that provides the basic-net switch-type would be okay if you are preparing for your CCIE at later stages. No SPIDs at the labs just remember. But to play with your current CCNP topics you need SPIDs switch-types to have better understanding.
