I have Passed CCNA and I want to get my CCNP but I am not sure how many test I need to take, I looked at Cisco webpage there was 4 test but then 2 at the bottom.
So I am still unsure how many I need to take.

Can I just take one big test?

What is the best material to study?

I would agree, two test is very hard, unless you have outstanding skills and want to take a short cut it would be best to cover the material in smaller chunks.

Another thing to remember is that a failure in any section of the Foundations exam (Routing, Remote Access, Switching) means that you fail the entire exam. I did the 4 exam method (network academy student here), and I completed each exam within 3 weeks after the end of the course (any longer than that, and you wind up forgetting material).
