The simulation portion of the exam only require one correction or are they multiple configuration errors possible for each?

Thank you!

Hello MPR1, not sure what you mean. Are you asking whether simulation questions may contain more than one task i.e.
configure interfaces on RouterA, enable RIP and finally troubleshoot RIP?

thanks
Kevin

DrBongo,
Yes...multiple tasks/troubleshooting per simulation.

Thank you!!

When I took me CCNA 640-801 in December,
I had 3 simulation questions, actually I'm wondering if someone could give me feedback on this, is 3 sim questions
a lot to receive. The total number of questions was 58.

The 3 simulation questions I had didn't inolve all that much.
1) Configure RIP on 2 routers, advertising their
connected networks.
2) Trouble shoot a connectivity issue - if memory serves, this was a problem on a serial point-to-point link, may have been a conflict in encapsulation types.
3) Access-lists, no details I'm afraid, can't remember.

hope this helps.

DrBongo,

Most CCNA exams have from 2-3 sim questions and they have 1-2 tasks to do or a troubleshooting problem to solve.

The first time I took it in 2001 I had 2 sims and when I renewed it in 2004 I had 3 sims! I will be renewing again this summer!

With 55 to 60 questions on the exam - they can not ask you to do a whole lot :)

Hope this helps!
