Hi all-

I came across this website yesterday when searching for resources to assist me in my Cisco Cert path. I graduated college a few months ago and am now choosing to get certified b/c, as many of you probably know, it's hard to land a job out there.

I have purchased the Sybex book and the virtual lab e-trainer. I also have my hands on the TroyTech study guide. Other than those two, what are the other well respected resources that I should spend some money on?

thanks for the help,

doug

Hold yopur horses. Do not the exam now. Wait for a while till things are cleared out. The CCNA exam has retired today and a new exam will need to be taken. Read the following:

"Cisco certified professionals are considered the "best of the best" in the networking industry. Today, March 12, 2002, beginning with the CCNA exam, Cisco will include simulation questions in Cisco exams and courses. The nhancements to the Cisco Career Certifications program will ensure certified professionals continue to provide our customers and partners with the highest level of support and expertise needed for managing and deploying Cisco end-to-end network solutions.

The CCNA #640-607 exam will focus on testing a candidate's knowledge and skills, The CCNA exam #640-607 replaces exam #640-507 in all countries except Japan. All translated version of exam #640-507 will be retired on March 12, except for Networking Academy students. The CCNA #640-607 exam will utilize Flash simulations along with "drag and drops" to validate an individual's understanding and application of the CCNA networking support objectives. "

Only after I posted this message did I realize the format was changing. Don't you think it'd be safe to study the 640-507 books and go through labs using router simulation software?

Per Cisco the study material is the same and the test covers the same topic areas its just the changed it to a will world type exam Jeter@LasVegas.com
